Matthew Hayden believes Tilak Varma’s inclusion in India’s squad for the men’s Asia Cup is a “good strategy” as it would put pressure on Suryakumar Yadav and keep the rest of the frontline batters in the side “honest”.”We’ve seen the class of Tilak Varma. I think it’s a good strategy in terms of not just this World Cup but even potentially getting into the next World Cup as well,” Hayden said on the sidelines of the CEAT Cricket Rating Awards ceremony in Mumbai. “The great thing about India is it’s got a really solid one-two-three combination. Similar to Australia actually, when you look at their last four or five months, they’ve had a really good and strong – what we like to call – the engine room. So as much as we’d love to see superstars feature in World Cups, the outliers tend to be those players that might win you a World Cup. It might be Ishan Kishan, for example. He might have an unbelievable World Cup and blast everyone away. The selectors don’t write their names down first, but they have something special and they can deliver it on a World Cup stage.”There are some key questions for India heading into the 50-over World Cup at home this year: who will be their No. 4? What will their middle order look like? While captain Rohit Sharma said he wanted to keep the batting order flexible, Hayden said the Asia Cup would give India a chance to fine-tune their plans and possibly find answers they need.”The Asia Cup is kind of where you’re going to see a lot more answers to those questions,” Hayden said. “Playing in their home conditions, in the build-up to the World Cup – the World Cup’s on our doorstep – that’s about as good as you get from the subcontinent teams, playing in Sri Lanka, in Pakistan, ahead of an enormous campaign here in India. There’s no question that you’re going to have bench players playing in this World Cup. Your outliers are as important as your key players. وأكدت المصادر لـ بطولات، أن ما يتم تداوله بهذا الخصوص غير صحيح، وأن اتحاد الكرة لا يعتزم إلغاء هذا البند، والذي يُعتبر من القرارات الداعمة للاعبين الفلسطينيين داخل المسابقات المحلية.

في المقابل، تدرس اللجنة الفنية بالاتحاد مقترحًا يهدف إلى وضع سقف لعدد اللاعبين الفلسطينيين في قائمة كل نادٍ، بدلاً من ترك الأمر مفتوحًا كما هو الحال حاليًا، وذلك ضمن خطة تنظيمية لضبط التوازن بين اللاعبين المحليين والأجانب.

وأشارت المصادر ذاتها إلى أن الأمر لا يزال قيد الدراسة، ولم يتم اتخاذ قرار نهائي بشأنه حتى الآن.

وفي سياق متصل، يترقب الشارع الرياضي مصير المهاجم الفلسطيني وسام أبو علي مع النادي الأهلي، في ظل رغبة اللاعب في الرحيل، مقابل تمسّك الجهاز الفني بخدماته الفنية.

وكان الأهلي قد قرر فرض غرامات مالية على اللاعب وسام أبو علي بسبب مخالفته للائحة الانضباط الداخلية، بعد تغيّبه عن التدريبات في الأوقات المحددة.

A Reebok lidera a corrida para assinar as camisas do Glorioso a partir de 2023, mas uma nova possibilidade dá dor de cabeça ao executivo. Dono de uma rede multiclubes ao redor do mundo, a Eagle Holding, John Textor cogita ‘padronizar’ os clubes desta networkcom a mesma empresa: a Adidas.

Neste caso, Botafogo e RWD Molenbeek-BEL, que atualmente usa a Joma, acompanhariam o Lyon-FRA, clube que está em processo para também se tornar de Textor, e seriam patrocinados pela alemã. Textor também possui ações no Crystal Palace-ING, mas não é acionista majoritário dos Eagles, o que deixa decisões grandes complicadas porque dependem da aprovação de mais pessoas.

De qualquer forma, a gigante alemã está em pauta no Botafogo. É, provavelmente, a “terceira marca” que estava na corrida para fechar com o clube – o LANCE!havia publicado no mês passado que Textor tinha três ofertas na mesa. A Reebok e a Joma são as outras companhias.

O proprietário da SAF do Botafogo possui boas relações com os executivos da Adidas e entende que esta é a marca que vai entregar as camisas do Alvinegro para todo o mundo. Em paralelo, Textor é amigo pessoal de Jamie Salter, CEO da Authentic Brands Group, que controla a Reebok, marca que conversa com o clube há meses.

O que quer dizer: a Reebok ofereceu uma proposta que foi mais valorizada pelo norte-americano, mas o executivo também observa a chance de fortalecer a network como um todo e criar uma padronização entre todos os ‘co-irmãos’.

Por enquanto, a Reebok segue liderando a corrida pelos números apresentados, mas John Textor tem o desejo de que os clubes da Eagle Holding tenham o mesmo fornecedor de uniformes. Neste contexto, a questão envolvendo o Lyon é bem mais complicada, já que o clube francês possui uma parceria de 12 anos com a Adidas.
