أوضح أليكسيس سانشيز لاعب إشبيلية، سبب احتفاله بهدفه أمام فريقه السابق برشلونة، رغم تصريحه بأنه لن يحتفل إذا سجل بشباك البلوجرانا.

وسجل سانشيز هدفًا في فوز إشبيلية على برشلونة، وحسم فريقه المباراة برباعية لهدف ضمن مواجهات الدوري الإسباني.

وقال سانشيز في تصريحات نشرتها صحيفة “ماركا” الإسبانية: “أخبروني أننا لم نفز هنا منذ عشر سنوات، وهذه فترة طويلة، هذه الأمور تحدث في كرة القدم، وعندما ترى فرحة الجماهير بالخارج، لا يسعني سوى أن أرفع القبعة لزملائي، وإن كان هناك وقت مناسب للفوز، فهو هذا الوقت”.

وأضاف: “لم نكن نفوز هنا منذ مباريات كثيرة، وأنا موجود منذ شهر واحد فقط، وسعيد بذلك، اعتدت دائمًا على تحطيم الأرقام القياسية في كل الأندية التي لعبت لها، وعندما تنتهي المباراة وترى كيف يحتفل اللاعبون ومن في مقاعد البدلاء، يكون مشهدًا جميلاً حقًا”.

وأكمل: “لطالما كنت أشارك في الاحتفالات داخل الملعب ولم أعشها يومًا جالسًا على الدكة، وأحيانًا أجلس فقط لأستمتع بتلك اللحظة الرائعة”.

وأكد: “كان شعورًا رائعًا، الأجواء هنا فريدة من نوعها، لقد زرتُ العديد من الملاعب، وجماهير إشبيلية تُشعرك بشغف هذا النادي وقميصه، وهذا واضح”.

وأتم: “كنت قد قلت إنني لن أحتفل، لكن أحيانًا القلق أو الرغبة الجامحة يتغلبان عليّ، خرج الأمر عن إرادتي، والحقيقة أنني أكنّ لبرشلونة محبة كبيرة”.

Tottenham were dealt a hammer blow on Wednesday evening, after Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze pulled a seismic Spurs transfer U-turn.

Eze was all set to join Thomas Frank, agreeing personal terms, and Tottenham also struck a deal in principle with Palace.

It seemed a matter of when, not if, Eze would become Spurs’ third major signing of the window after Mathys Tel and Mohammed Kudus, but alas, Arsenal swooped in dramatically to break Daniel Levy’s heart.

After midweek talks, Arsenal immediately signed a replacement for the injured Kai Havertz by hijacking Tottenham’s once-imminent deal for the England international, with Frank and Levy now forced to re-enter the market for a new playmaker once again.

This isn’t the first transfer humiliation Spurs have suffered this window, either, with Morgan Gibbs-White’s move to N17 also falling through earlier this summer after Nottingham Forest blocked the deal, threatened legal action and convinced the 25-year-old to pen a new deal.

It is getting slightly embarrassing from Levy’s perspective, and Tottenham need to react strongly amid Frank’s glaring need for a new number 10 and a stand-in for James Maddison, who’ll miss most of 2025/2026 after rupturing his ACL.

A host of attacking midfielders are being linked with moves to north London in the aftermath of their Eze loss, including the likes of Como starlet Nico Paz, Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers and Southampton’s Tyler Dibling.

It is worth noting that Tottenham are believed to be very interested in Liverpool sensation Harvey Elliott, so a potential move could still be on the cards after Eze chose Arsenal ahead of Spurs, but RB Leipzig are reportedly preparing a bid, so Levy will have to act quickly.

Tottenham ready £69m offer for Savinho with London talks ongoing

Some better news for the Lilywhites comes from Globo Esporte and journalist Cahê Mota.

According to their information, in response to losing Eze, Tottenham intend to seriously push for Man City winger Savinho, and are vowing to “spare no effort” behind-the-scenes.

They could go all the way to deadline day if necessary, and despite City’s resistance so far, Tottenham are believed to be readying a £69 million bid for Savinho to test their resolve.

The 21-year-old’s representatives are also in London right now, attempting to mediate negotiations between the Sky Blues and Spurs, with Savinho keen on a move down south for more game time ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

Savinho can actually play in the number 10 role, as he did on two occasions for Pep Guardiola last season. He ended 24/25 with 13 assists in all competitions, with Guardiola praising his work rate and “incredible” attacking ability.

The Brazil international was also a key member of Michel’s Girona side that surprised everyone by challenging for a La Liga title in 2023/2024.

The Liverpool star is set to sign on a season-long loan deal, although it would include an obligation to buy as part of that initial temporary switch. According to Ornstein, the Reds are looking for a fee in the region of £35m, should such a clause be included.

Why Elliot would be a good signing

Described as a “diamond” by football scout Antonio Mango, England under-21 international Elliot has impressed for Liverpool. However, with the quality they have in creative areas, such as Mohamed Salah and Florian Wirtz, it is hard for him to break into the side.

However, his quality is undeniable. He has made 149 appearances for the Reds, with 15 goals and 21 assists to his name. His best campaign came in 2023/24, which was Jurgen Klopp’s final season. Elliot scored three goals and assisted nine in 33 Premier League games.

The former Fulham player shone in the recent under-21 European Championships, too. He was a pivotal part of England retaining their title, scoring five goals in six games and even skippering the side in their final group stage clash.

It is easy to see how Elliot could become the second coming of Morgan Rogers at Villa Park. The newly-crowned PFA Young Player of the Year winner has been sensational under Emery since his move to the West Midlands.

In 73 appearances so far, he’s found the back of the net on 17 occasions and has also chalked up the same number of assists.

Last season in the Premier League, he scored eight times and created 11 goals for his teammates.

It is easy to draw comparisons between the two players. Both are young English talents who excel at operating between the lines and creating chances.

On top of that, they’ve each played for huge clubs, with Rogers coming through the Manchester City academy, and Elliot, of course, at Liverpool.

Statistically, you can compare the players and see the similarities. In the last two Premier League campaigns, Elliot has averaged 2.46 key passes and 2.83 progressive carries per 90 minutes.

As for Rogers, he’s played an average of 1.44 key passes and completed 3.26 progressive carries on average each game.

Signing Elliot could be a huge addition for Villa. He is certainly similar to Rogers, given the playmaking ability he possesses in the final third. For a fee of around £40m, this could be a bargain for Emery and for Monchi on deadline day.

Com oito gols e duas assistências nesta temporada, Galoppo afirmou que não imaginava que faria tantos gols, uma vez que não era acostumada a jogar como centroavante, embora tenha atuado desta forma com Rogério Ceni.

– Realmente, não imaginava fazer tantos gols, me preparei muito durante as férias, durante o início do campeonato. Não sou centroavante, mas joguei assim. Não achei que iria fazer tantos gols, mas graças a Deus aconteceram. Sempre falo que é uma característica do meu jogo, chegar tanto na posição do gol. – disse.

Evolução

Na última semana, Galoppo apresentou uma boa evolução no tratamento da sua lesão. O meia fez um trabalho de coordenação motora acompanhado dos fisioterapeutas do clube.Galoppo não atua desde o dia 13 de março, quando se machucou durante o duelo com Água Santa, pelas quartas de final do Paulistão, quando o São Paulo foi eliminado nos pênaltis, no Allianz Parque. Sua lesão foi no ligamento cruzado anterior do joelho esquerdo e ele optou por operar o local com médicos de sua confiança em Buenos Aires, na Argentina. Todo o processo foi acompanhado de perto por profissionais são-paulinos.

No final de abril, retornou ao Brasil para dar sequência ao tratamento no Reffis. No entanto, no dia 10 de maio, o meia precisou passar por uma nova operação (artroscopia) no joelho para retirar uma fibrose. Agora, trabalha no CT com auxílio dos médicos do Tricolor.

But his heroics went in vain as Josh Inglis countered by pummelling a lacklustre England pace attack and powering Australia to the highest successful chase in men’s ICC tournament history.The first match at an ICC event in Lahore since March 1996 saw batting completely dominate this Champions Trophy blockbuster with little margin for error for the bowlers on such a benign surface.With a mixture of inventive strokes and meaty backfoot blows, England-born Inglis hit his maiden ODI century to finish unbeaten on 120 from 86 balls as Australia reached the target of 352 with relative ease in the 48th over. England’s bowlers struggled to handle the dew under lights, with Australia achieving their second-highest successful ODI chase after their 359 for 6 against India in Mohali in 2019.It was a bitter disappointment for England, who now face must-win games against Afghanistan and South Africa. They ultimately will rue falling a little bit short with the bat, but Duckett’s magnificent 165 off 143 was the highest individual score in Champions Trophy history. Duckett had started relatively slowly, but blasted a boundary off the last delivery of the powerplay as England moved to 73 for 2.Smith reverted to spin after the restrictions were eased but there was little turn on offer as Duckett and Root easily rotated the strike. He had a perfect opportunity to end a long ODI century drought stretching to the 2019 World Cup as England eyed a total in the high 300s.But Root got tied down by legspinner Adam Zampa, was was in the midst of a good spell, and missed a rare attempted sweep to fall in a tight lbw after an unsuccessful review. Australia fought back through Zampa, whose subtle variations proved effective and accounted for Brook with Carey taking another terrific catch after a diving effort running backward at point.Seamer Nathan Ellis also utilised his noted defensive skills and conceded just 51 runs off his 10 overs – the only bowler with an economy of under six.England feared letting slip a great platform just like they did against Australia at Trent Bridge last September. But Duckett held things together and blasted consecutive boundaries off Johnson to reach his third ODI century.He punched the air in celebration, but did not waver in his concentration despite being clearly fatigued. Duckett’s brilliant innings finally ended in the 48th over when he was trapped lbw by the legspin of Labuschagne, who was preferred over Johnson at the death and finished with 2 for 41 off five overs.Archer hit a flurry at the death, but his mood soured later in the night.
